Eucon History
The Company was started in the 1930’s by Frank DeAtley as a road construction and rock crushing business. In the 1960’s Management of the Company was assumed by the grandson of Frank DeAtley, A. Neil DeAtley, and renamed DeAtley Corporation. Neil successfully guided DeAtley Corporation through multiple mergers and acquisitions to ultimately emerge as a leader in the crushed aggregate and concrete business in the Pacific Northwest.
In 2010, Company leadership transitioned to the fourth DeAtley generation, as Neil’s son, Brien N. DeAtley, became Company President. Now named Eucon Corporation, with five primary subsidiary and related companies and nearly 500 employees, Eucon Corporation predominately serves aggregate and concrete needs in Idaho, Washington, and eastern Oregon. Eucon Corporation continues to grow and prosper through quality management, dedicated employees, innovative plant designs, and an extensive knowledge of the aggregate and concrete industry.
Through all the growth and the many changes experienced since the 1930's, one thing has remained constant; A commitment to quality and building strong customer relationships. As the Company transitions to yet another generation, it is Eucon's commitment to our customers, and a focus on uncompromising quality, that separates us from our peers. At Eucon, excellence is not a goal, it's a habit.
